Fireforge Studios Unveils ‘Eternal Sagas’: A New Open-World Fantasy RPG

Fireforge Studios has just announced its newest title, Eternal Sagas, a fantasy RPG set in a massive open-world environment. Scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, the game promises deep lore, intense combat, and breathtaking visuals.

Set in a war-torn realm of mythical beasts and ancient ruins, players will step into the role of a customizable hero destined to reshape the fate of a fractured world. With dynamic weather, a full day-night cycle, and emergent gameplay systems, Eternal Sagas aims to redefine immersion in the RPG genre.

The game features six unique classes at launch, each with its own branching skill trees and combat mechanics. Players can align with various in-game factions, each offering unique questlines and endings that react to player choices.

Combat blends real-time strategy with action, allowing players to switch between ranged spells, melee attacks, and even command allies in real-time. Fireforge is also implementing a creature companion system, enabling players to tame beasts found throughout the world.

According to lead designer Sarah Goodman, “Our goal was to craft a world that reacts to your decisions. Whether you’re a silent rogue or a thunder-wielding battlemage, Eternal Sagas adapts to your playstyle.”

The game’s narrative, written by veterans of the RPG industry, spans five continents, each with its own political turmoil and hidden legends. Players can expect over 80 hours of content in the main storyline alone, with countless side quests, dungeons, and hidden secrets.

A closed beta is slated for early winter, with sign-ups opening next month on the official Eternal Sagas website. Fireforge Studios has promised regular developer updates and sneak peeks as development progresses.
